New Level 2 Food Safety level II

Food Safety level II in Catering.
We run these courses all the time, at your demand. We can also run this course at your venue, provided there are minimum of 5 candidates.

Graduate/post graduate, bilingual trainers.

The fee for this course is £50 inclusive of registration, certificate and a reference book.

Who should undergo this qualification?
People working in a catering, manufacturing or retail environment where food is prepared, cooked and handled.
Typical environments may include:
• pubs, hotels, restaurants
• supermarkets and retail environments
• food and drink manufacturers
• hospitals
• care homes
• schools

Why is this training important?
Everyone who works with food has a special responsibility for safeguarding the health of consumers and ensure that the food they serve or sell is perfectly safe to eat.
Employers have a responsibility to ensure all food handlers are trained commensurate with their work activities.

Understanding of how to control food safety risks including; personal hygiene, food storage, cooking and handling food
Confidence and expertise to safely deliver quality food to customers
Refreshment of this qualification is recommended at least every three years.

Food Safety Level III

Food Safety level 3 in catering/manufacture.
These courses are for potential or actually are supervisors/managers/owner of food premises.
Excellent job prospect.

Cost: £300 inclusive.

Route to gain QTLS/QTS

Qualified teacher learning and skills (QTLS)

If you have QTLS status and membership with the Education and Training Foundation, you will be eligible to work as a qualified teacher in schools in England.

It will be up to schools and local authorities to decide whether you are suitable for a post and to teach a particular subject. You will be exempt from serving a statutory induction period in schools.

NTC is fully committed to insure their learners gain the full qualification (DET) and fully qualified status as a teacher in the shortest period of time. NTC will cater for both academic and practical parts to insure the learner meets the national standard for QTLS/QTS.

We Strongly recommend that learners should complete this qualification in stages because after completing stage 1 (AET Level 3) learners have a license to teach part time 15 hours a week there is no teaching practice for this course only micro teach (Short presentation). Completing stage 2 (CET Level 4) Learners are licensed to teach full time with limited responsibility and also gain the letters ATLS after their name with a minimum of 30 hours teaching practice. Final Stage (DET Level 5) For those who have completed CET then only 70 hours teaching practice is required otherwise it will be 100 hours.

You will receive 3 certificates instead of 1 the students not disadvantaged financially what ever the student pays towards level 3 and 4 will be deducted for the final total and we also offer a teaching position at NTC. Students can directly enrol for level 5 DET and skip AET/CET.
